Every Quickshops store gets a free subdomain as soon as you deploy, so you can start sharing your store link right away. When you are ready to give your store a fully branded address, you can connect any domain you own and your store will be accessible there within minutes of updating your DNS records.

Your default subdomain

Your store is immediately available at:
yourstore.quickshops.app
The subdomain is based on your store slug, which you can update in Settings → General. This address is always active — even after you connect a custom domain — so existing links you have shared will continue to work.

Connecting a custom domain

1

Go to Settings → Domain

Open your dashboard and navigate to Settings, then select the Domain tab.
2

Enter your domain

Type the domain or subdomain you want to use — for example shop.yourbrand.com or store.yourdomain.com. Click Save to generate the DNS records you need to add.
3

Add the DNS records

Log in to your domain registrar or DNS provider (such as Namecheap, Cloudflare, GoDaddy, or Google Domains). Add the records shown in your Quickshops settings. Typically this is one CNAME record pointing your subdomain to Quickshops.

4

Wait for DNS propagation

DNS changes can take a few minutes to a few hours to propagate globally. Quickshops will automatically detect when your records are in place and activate the domain.
5

Your custom domain is live

Once verified, your store loads at your custom domain. Quickshops handles SSL automatically, so your store is always served over HTTPS.
SSL certificates are provisioned automatically. You do not need to set up or renew anything yourself.

Tips for connecting your domain

Use a subdomain like shop.yourdomain.com rather than a root domain (also called an apex domain, e.g. yourdomain.com). Subdomains work reliably with a CNAME record and are simpler to configure across all DNS providers.
If you are using Cloudflare, make sure the proxy status for your DNS record is set to DNS only (the cloud icon should be grey, not orange) during initial setup. You can re-enable proxying after the domain has been verified by Quickshops.

Removing a custom domain

To stop using a custom domain, go to Settings → Domain and remove it. Your store will continue to be available at your original quickshops.app subdomain.
